Plate Carry

The Official Rule

Carry a weight plate for 300 meters. The plate must be carried with both hands and touch your chest at all times. If you must put the weight down to rest, move into the middle lane. You’re halfway done.

Suck Factor

This simple (but definitely not easy) exercise tests your core, shoulders, and mental toughness.

Fancy Gyms (Not Needed)

  • State-of-the-art equipment: (Who needs fancy machines when you've got a simple weight plate and your own determination?)
  • Spacious workout areas (You'll need room to walk. And maybe some padding for when that plate inevitably slips and you drop it on your foot. Or your toes. Or your shin. Or your ankle. Or your knee. Or your... you get the point.)

How to Train

Start light, focus on form, and consult trainers (or the internet, you know you’re just going to use the internet.)
